About Jan R. Iversen

I live in the Arctic, way up north in Northern Norway.

 

Although I've been to many other countries, and seen lovely places and met fabulous people, I always return to the Arctic with the feeling of never-ending love. Love to the different seasons, the blue light in the long winters and the explosions of colours in the short summers and autumns. Not to forget the culture, often impulsive and direct and wrapped in humour.

 

Impressions like that also trigger my imagination and inspiration to paint other things than nature. Just have a look at my works, and you'll see.
